Christine von Scheidt (Munich)

& Franky Doo (Stuttgart)

Christine has been dancing for more than 35 years , 21 of those having been in Lindy!

Focusing on the fun and social aspect of the dance, her main goal has been and still is to build up the Munich Swing scene. She runs her own dance studio and is teaching Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, Burlesque, Vintage Jazz and Ladies' Styling.

Her passion for Swing music has resulted in creating a Lindy performance group that particularly enjoys doing gigs with live Big Bands such as the Glenn Miller Big Band.

She has been at Camp Canary almost every year since it was started and loved it sooooo much that she kept it running - and still is supporting the current organisation team with her experience.

Franky Doo's number one goal is to make everybody dance, dance, dance... and dance :)

Whether he is DJ-ing at events, ranging from local social dances to international festivals, playing the banjo in his unique Swing-Duo The Hot Jazz Rewinders or counting those well-known numbers at you in class - his energy is always contagious, his appearance is always stylish and his skills are always convincing!

He is an experienced trainer in Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz and Collegiate Shag with a strong focus on giving his students simple but effective moves, patterns and strategies for the social dance floor.

Christine and Frank believe that things don't need to be overly complicated to have fun on the social dancefloor: There are two directions in which you can turn, two sides on which you can pass by your partner and luckily everyone comes with a maximum of two hands to connect :-)

In their classes you will learn how to apply this simple approach to your own dance experience!
